What if God turned up...just like that,and didn't say anything...we'd all be a mess i reckon.
He'd just stay there hovering above us....and he knew what everyone was doing, as some believe already, and he judged us, and caused untold havoc,cause we were playing up.
I think we'd get jack of him quick smart...so while i think it may be nice for some to have a God, they wouldn't want him hanging around......in the physical sense.
