No way! Us Corporation Act greenies should change the BOD and management thinking on fairness!

We need to change voting from poll voting to one vote per shareholders!
Rules can be changed on who can vote, to needing to having a marketable parcel to combat distribution of a single shares to others for voting manipulation etc.

Treasury were conned by the argument that the more u invest in a company the more likely u will monitor the board and management team.
This was simply a feeble excuse because management wanted to control their remuneration reward and poll voting afford them this protection

The opposite now has happened with this voting method, with a small numbers of rabid greenies with large holdings stuffing up a company.
In AGL case, even if the majority of individual shareholders agreed with the boards and management future plans, a minority held the sway because of the poll voting system.

Actually poll voting has transformed a supposedly listed PUBLIC company into a semblance of a proprietary Ltd company, becoming the domain of the T20, board and management team.
