HUM was a damned if it did and would have been damned if it didn't to joining BNPL. No one knew where it would go but it was eating into the point of sale payment area, something that HUM did. It had no choice otherwise could have been a dinosaur if these other operators overtook and made it a seamless experience and HUM didnt take any steps. As mentioned its good that they are now making decisions around financial returns so once the discontinued operations move off, the rest of the businesses earnings should steady itself. AA is right in that you can't chase millions of $100 debts. Hopefully this is the last year of the cleanse.
