Fair enough. I think what should be added is that ASIC/ASX are trying to protect the broader market. To use your analogy, they stopped the sale of more tickets to other fans. So instead of 20,000 fans bein upset, it was limited to 10,000. Their role is to protect the market as a whole, which unfortunately doesn't always mean individual investors are protected.
I think that people are unfairly blaming the referee rather than those truly responsible. I believe the one claiming to be standing up for you all (ISX management) is actually the whole reason you are in this mess.
But I understand and appreciate your perspective and why you are upset.
