Having Electricity transmission infrastructure nearby means we mightn't have to pay BIG dollars to connect to the grid to power processing plants and workers facilities etc , as there might not be great distances involved .
Otherwise could be VERY costly to power up .
Owning own Solar grid could allow us to export / compliment our electricity needs by day ( make/save $$$ ).
