IMO it's understandable that there was no scale back- though the numbers have raised a few eyebrows, including my own. I see it this way, if DRO are going to be able service LARGE contracts across (for example) a network of US military bases, they're going to need to produce kit in large (very large) quantities, very fast. DOD aren't going to want drone defence systems in drips and drabs over 5-10 years- they're gonna want to pay the bill, and roll out that hardware ASAP. Upscaling production be in a position to meet this need might require a bit of coin.... Just an opinion, obviously. GLTAH.
