I am no expert on the ASX Listing Rules however I believe the DRO SPP we just had meets exception 5. The cap would have been 30% before shareholder approval was required.
The exception makes sense given that shareholders were all given the chance to participate.
IMO it is great news they raised so much capital via the SPP. Whilst it would have been nice to be at a higher price, hopefully this sets the scene for DRO to capture the bigger ticket items in this exploding sector.
