I will note that voting already took place and was approved by shareholders. I suppose we bear equal responsibility by voting this thing into being.
Similar words are used in the media about a company results; Usually it contains an extra word, a majority of shareholders.
What does this info purport to the general public, that a large number of individuals voted in favour.
They wouldn’t be aware that it actually could mean a small of number of individuals with large holdings voted in favour.
This ambiguous announcement is a favourite phrase for greenies who want to change a company’s direction
