Impressive presentation by Glenn. Appears to have been working diligently since starting the role in Oct 22. Seems settled and confident with the future direction. Acknowledges the stumble and strategic importance of getting CDP fully completed (with heat exchanger and reactor) and commissioned. Key items expected to arrive middle of the year. Dedicated Project Manager and other resources to facilitate this priority (which has "laser focus"). Concurrently the 2,500tpa project is advancing. Talked of:
- Interest from Tier 1 entities in key jurisdictions.
- Potential for the graphitic carbon product (3.8Kg per 1 Kg of H2 produced), including in green steel production, replacing coking coke, plus a variety of other potential applications.
- The modular (plug-in) nature of a commercial plant and the potential to replace existing SMR Hydrogen production (which can produce up to 9Kg CO2 per 1Kg H2).
I thought it was an enthusiastic performance, the latter part of which was a CV rundown demonstrating his experience and skill set ideally suited to this current role, developing and commercialising disruptive tech at this critical time of energy transition.
