Macquarie out with new research highlight
SYA, through its 75% interest in Sayona Québec is set to become Canada’s only spodumene producer in the next few months. Returning Sayona Québec back to production presents a key near-term catalyst for SYA, with production rates of +200ktpa likely, in our view. We believe SYA has the capacity to move downstream and accelerate the Moblan project to add value; we initiate with an OP rating and A$0.30 TP.
Now of course $0.30 is too low ... basis is on 5X EV/EBITDA ... but hey I am only the messenger
