Ahead of next months EGM to approve the issue of Tranche 2 shares under the capital raise, it'll be interesting to see if RED provides an update on current operations. Sophisticated investors will be provided with a Terms Sheet to help them make a decision but they won't be given any information about the company which isn't already publicly available.

We'd all like to see details of gold produced in February, and forecasts of production and costs post 30 June 2023 would be better.

Retail investors contemplating an investment through the SPP, though, will have to make their decisions by 21 March and would no doubt prefer to see any update published before then. But with the SPP fully underwritten, RED will get its full $10m regardless of the participation of retail investors.

I hope it's not the case but I wonder if informing the retail base ahead of the SPP close date isn't exactly "top of mind" for the Board.
