Was it an easy build or did it provide any challenges?
I’ve always had problems with gates, doors and cupboards. They frustrate me and never look true
The satisfaction of working through the engineering/design process is what provides me with the most joy.
Obviously I appreciate hearing others say that they like the end product and not many ever query the process or comment about the construction process.
My “go to” friend who is into parquetry and wood craft gave me a good piece of advice, early on.
He told me that I would get very frustrated, frequently, as I tried to get things perfect but I needed to learn to just accept that sometimes I would need to let go of the dream of perfection and settle for adequate because it would only be myself who would notice “the imperfection”.
