Unless they get in 2008-style panic mode and then the Dow may drop 1,000 points tonight. It's probably a truth that most shareholders in most stocks are not hardcore long term holders like most of us posting on this forum who stick to our long term optimistic view. I believe the majority are either only in for short term gains or else are super-nervous wannabe long termers without the stomach for short term reversals. As such, these falls are inevitable when a chill wind blows over markets.
