Hi Orland, that's exactly what I've always done with CFDs as well. However, I'm sure the companies offering the product would prefer punters to use all the credit available. The thing I found with CFDs is that I'm more likely to make emotional trades, such as not letting profits run.
I've tried shorting the Dow last Jan and Feb, but got the timing wrong as I was about 3 months too early. I've had enough - they will never get another cent from me!
