Come on, guys — you’re far too sensitive! As I read didico’s post, he was referring simply to the price at which YAL was then trading — namely, $6.88. Figures with multiple 8s (88, 888, etc) are viewed as ‘lucky’ numbers by large numbers of Chinese people (a fact!). By contrast, numbers with lots of 4s are viewed as unlucky, the Mandarin word for 4 being close to the word for ‘death’.
