The presentation said as a rough guide use:
(US$oil +$10)/2, which at $70bbl is $40 profit.
Most people are conservatively using $35. Obviously these first few barrels are being sold locally and will continue for the next few months. That will most likely mean less profit.
Its not exactly a "small" well. It just doesnt support a large market cap. When you consider JPR had a MC of $60mil and produced 220bopd 100% owned.
When they mentioned transition from explorer to producer, I did chuckle. Only because nobody would bother with such an outlay to recoup so little return. A producer...JUST.
But you must take it in context with a future vision. One would hope that the flow rates improve, maybe not to the heights that many had predicted. The area has needed assistance in the past, so im not worried. Its nothing out of the ordinary.
Provided flow rates improve as expected, then their will be further wells. If not, then not much point drilling again.
