Yeah, we had olive trees years ago on a hobby farm (central Tablelands, NSW).
They grew well, but trying to do much with them on a small scale is just too hard. There's only so many you can brine yourself also! And the stuff you buy at the shops would always taste better anyway
Sold the farm about 10yrs back and bought a beach holiday house about 2hrs south of Sydney. One of the best decisions I ever made ;-)
