The thought of a traumatic brain injury (TBI) is terrifying to me. Even a mind concussion, which I have never had, would frighten me about the future.
I would never want to play football at the highest level (at 5"7, I didn't really have the option either haha), and believe that participating in MMA or boxing is absolute stupidity. I learnt too much about the negative consequences of head injuries in my psych honours degree to see it any other way.
The thought of having a degenerative brain condition, early onset alzheimers, chronic traumatic encephalopathy, etc. is literally a nightmare scenario.
I hope that Incannex's TBI medication is able to reduce the impact of head knocks on those brave (or stupid?) enough to participate in contact sports.
