"And without wishing to sound picky, all the automotive manufacturers in Australia are 100 per cent foreign owned, but this has not prevented governments, year after year, handing out massive amounts of protection, in the form of tariffs, quotas, licences and straight cash handouts. And we have had to put up with poor quality, over-priced cars. Where's the "fairness" in this racket?"
