    I could be wrong but I think paid by bank is only currently available in the UK and EU. It is based on API calls between the payment provider (ISXF) and the user's bank and requires open banking standards to be available in the jurisdiction.

    The UK has the Open Banking Standard while the EU has PSD2. The US is working on something; Canada I think is further behind.
