You should look at that more closely.
In the GFC ALL Aussie banks were given "funding" by the Fed Reserve. One in particular was gone.
Their balance sheets may be better this time around but I wouldn't put my pants on that bet.
With our bail in laws now it's the depositors who'll bail out our banks not the Commonwealth as guarantor.
