Jourdan Resources and Lithium North America confirm their partnership to further explore the lithium resources of the Vallée property, located not far from the LAN plant in La Corne.

The 2 companies intend to define the mineral resources of the Vallée property by drilling more than 50,000 metres on LAN's properties, including the 28 claims that make up the Vallée de Jourdan lithium project.

LAN and Jourdan Ressources are thus concretizing their agreement signed in November 2022.

Jourdan Resources states that the establishment of a mineral resource base on the Vallée property would support the current operation of LAN's open-pit mine, which owns the concentrator at its La Corne site.

"We are extremely fortunate that LAN has restarted processing operations at its nearby mine. Based on the information provided by Sayona, as well as our own results, we find that lithium mineralization has already been defined over an impressive length of 3.7 km, extending from the LAN pit to the Jourdan claims. We believe that only additional definition drilling is required on mineralized sections east of the current pit boundary to define a mineral resource on mineral titles. Given that we have already authorized 3,200 m of the approved program, we anticipate that this aggressive drilling program will begin in the coming weeks," said Roger Lemaître, Vice-President, Jourdan Mines.

The company also confirms that the tender for drilling contractors has been issued and the exploration permit applications required to begin the first phase of the drilling program are being prepared for bid.
