I get the feeling that lachlans email to shareholders and today's market action might be signalling some HGO treasury purchasing to ensure that the SPP price remains attractive compared to buying on market - at least until the offer closes. $3 million is way too valuable to the company to see any big shortfall in the spp, which could well have been the case before today. I certainly wouldn't have participated if I could have picked up more shares at a cheaper price.
