It's called sticking with your calls and it is the key to success in the stock market and the big holders know that (hence why they are the big holders). Does not always win with each individual company, but on average it does win. If you can't back yourself you're just going to end up selling in times like these when the market decides to have a sook. They only time you should sell (imo) is if there is a change in the fundamentals which changes your thesis. This is why I alway write a detailed report on each company I invest in, so that I can continually compare what I expected with what actually happened (to assess without emotions whether I wish to remain invested or sell)
