but anyone with experience knows this and allows for contingency in the timelines and statements. Hell, you’re some random on the internet who gets that it is hard to get results out of labs right now - imagine if you were the CEO/CE/Director or a listed company? Surely you would also know this.

it’s hard for salespeople to do that though, they want everything to sound more amazing than reality.

if you over promise and under deliver consistently, your future ability to ever promise anything will disappear cause no one will trust you to deliver anything.
