Tungsten prices have risen significantly over the past few weeks. Chinese concentrate
prices have risen to approximately $US178 per metric tonne unit. This is expected to put
upward pressure on the ferrotungsten price, which currently stands at $US31.50/kg f.o.b.
China (equivalent to $US397/mtu). It is understood that at least two FeW producers in
China are currently in shut-down
