Im mostly angry about the self aggrandising, saying that those who complied with the government's covid measures (developed with advice from experts and international health agencies), are somehow lesser humans than those who just took the easy option of doing nothing.
Yes the vaccines probably weren't tested to the normal standards, but we couldn't stay lockeddown forever! Those of us who too the risk and followed the government's coercion ought not be ridiculed! We wanted to get back to normal as soon as possible, I remember it clear as day, Gladys would hold 10am press conferences where we'd hear about the dozens of covid deaths and then we'd hear the vaccination rates and how once vaccination rates hit key targets that lockdown restrictions would be lifted. So instead of ridicule, why not show a bit of gratitude to those who rolled up their sleeves.
