Ok Skol. I see where you're coming from.
For discussion purposes I quoted from an article which is in a post I made at http://www.hotcopper.com.au/post_threadview.asp?fid=1&tid=1147850&msgno=5294788#5294788
Because one posts a commentator's views does not mean one agrees with everything that person writes!
To make things perfectly clear, I do NOT believe that gold will hit one million US dollars an ounce. I have NEVER said gold will.
I expect to see gold reach the correctly adjusted for inflation 1980 spike, which is now over US$6000, not the oft quoted US$2,300 which is based on official US inflation figures, which shadowstats.com has shown to be a nonsense.
It would also not surprise me to see gold even go to around US$10,000 during a wild buying frenzy.
But as for one million dollars an ounce. To me, at this point in time, that looks like a fantasy figure.
