Yes, it would likely recover a bit. The question is what happens after that. I personally don't pay much attention to bank problems. These are merely headlines to justify the moves and they usually surface near the end of a swing. The main problem is economic cycles. Inflation getting under control and commodities down cycle will hit FTSE and XJO hard. Health, insurance, etc may be where money flows next, but they won't lift likes of XJO as much. Bears have been looking for 6100-6200 since last year. While it likely recovers a bit, I am positive they will come back in a month or two to hammer it harder.
