At this stage, unless ASM can demonstrate commercial viability for the Korean plant, the only remaining path forward is political support on strategic grounds to create an alternate supply chain. On that all we have seen is a lot of "discussion".
3 years ago ASM looked like a "slam dunk" but reality has been a string of hype and broken promises.
