been looking more at our participation in the FBICRC super anode project ( also involved in the future electrolytes program)
Participants
so there is government involvement with CSIRO, Melb uni, QLD uni and Minerals research inst of WA.
- AnteoTech
- Calix Limited
- Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation
- EcoGraf
- Koppers
- Minerals Research Institute of Western Australia
- Queensland University of Technology
- Syrah Resources Limited
- Talga
- University of Melbourne
we have been involved with the project since 9th April 21, (going on 2 years), in our ASX ann.
"The Future Battery Industries Cooperative Research Centre brings together almost 60 industry participants, eight universities, the CSIRO, and Federal and State Governments."
Federal and State Governments. Hmmmm !!!
https://ado.irmau.com/site/pdf/4ddb...-Joins-130M-Future-Battery-Industries-CRC.pdf
from the Melb energy inst webpage
"This Super Anode Project is funded by the Future Battery Industries Co-operative Research Centre and is in partnership with CSIRO and the Queensland University of Technology. An impressive team of postdoctoral research fellows and graduate students is exploring many different aspects of natural graphite anode development. Over the next four years, the capability to produce high performance natural graphite anodes in Australia will be developed."

so Anteotech have been working with several Australian research inst for a couple of years. with assistance from state and federal govt's. the end goal being to produce high performance anodes in Aust.
David in the last article added to our webpage said
“If you look at the part of the ecosystem within which we operate, which is high silicon anodes, down the track we could create a partnership with one of these Australian silicon companies, to buy their processed raw materials and produce the anodes in Australia and ship them offshore,” Radford explained.
“If the government wants to support it, we are delighted to be part of it but you don’t have to do all of the steps to produce a battery to be adding a lot of value to the economy"
pretty much in sync with the objective of the FBICRC super anode project.
there is quite a bit more, but for now I'll leave you with one last bit of info
Ecograf is one of the super anode participartants, on page 12 of their 2022 annual report
" In February 2022, the Company announced that a loan of US$40 million has been conditionally approved by the Australian Government for the HFfree Battery Anode Material Facility"
https://www.asx.com.au/asxpdf/20220930/pdf/45fqg4lzvfcj08.pdf
may mean nothing, but may mean that government support is there for Australian CET. it's definitely something our consultants will be adding to our non dilutive funding submission . just something to consider.....
