Humbledove,
Appreciate you optimistic advice, the problem is, all the experience in the world and all the gold in the world cant help them if the cash situation gets that low and they are still not making a profit. If they have any problems at all, maybe a small failure with the plant, it will send them under.
I don't think this is a stock that people should be trying to coax others to buy, that is why i have posted comments that are negative compared to the title of the thread.
Mark Ashley is most definitely an experienced man, you actually hit the nail on the head when you said he is an accountant because that may be the problem, he is not a miner or a geologist. When his past mine manager was telling him that all was sweet he had to take his word for it and inform the shareholders the same thing. If Ashley was more experience in Mining and not figures he may have seen that they had problems that were being covered up by a guy who was trying to save his own arse..
I think Apex is in a precarious position, i personally do not think they will survive, but after saying that if they do survive then anyone who buys now will do extremely well.
I decided the other day to chuck a few grand down the drain in a casino style trade on Apex, i reckon the odds are slightly better than roulette, i have already written the money off, but if it pays off then i can get back some of the cash i have lost in the past 5 or 6 years of ownership.
