None of the big banks are interested in SVR's core market of sub prime auto lending & I don't think there is a big enough growth rate in a short period of time for PE to be interested. I don't disagree about how cheap SVR is but it's not in a distressed state that a quick flip is on the cards.
With auto lending being such a fragmented market there aren't any really big players with big enough Balance Sheets to take on SVR.
