Existed in paganism before nicea
It entered what is called Christianity, at Nicea

The trinity concept tries to teach that God is one being made up of 3 parts that manifest themselves as father son and holy spirit

This is not the concept portrayed in the bible or the concept or understanding the Hebrews or the Jewish nation understood about God.

Why does this have an impact on Christianity?

1 It breaks the 1st commandment,thou shall worship the lord thy God,and him only shall thou worship.

2 It changes the relationship,of a literal Father/son meaning and relationship

3 It changes the atonement given to save mankind.

4 This doctrine is the central doctrine of the Roman catholic church,of which all her other doctrines originate.
