Well, there is an overdue asteroid coming - could solve a lot of issues
My only green stock today. Not sure it has any profound meaning other than someone was prepared to pay 12.5 cents to acquire some shares.
Australian banks are OK and, in reality, only a small percentage of overseas banks are experiencing difficulties. GFC still a raw memory for most of us but we are not going through another GFC. Might even put the brakes on interest rate rises here and overseas as well.
SVB was just badly run, and Credit Suisse has been in trouble for the last 10 years. Everyone needs to apply some perspective when these events happen.
Anyone who has accumulated some excess funds (unfortunately, I am not one those) will find these downturns are an excellent hunting ground to acquire shares or to average down.
Everyone can benefit from others panic - which is sad I suppose.
