Perhaps the BRB situation is hidden in the name of the project. Lake Roe. A salt lake. Even diamond drilling at Lake Roe requires limited daytime operations due to safety reasons arising from salt lake access? Not sure what the deal is there.
I also wonder if BRB management made a mistake somewhere along the way:
May 2019 - raised $6.9m for a prefeasibility study, drilling
Feb 2020 - put PFS on hold, technical studies carried out
June 2022 - In quarterly, BRB says PFS out before end of Q2 2022
October 2022 - In quarterly, no mention of PFS.
December 2022 - I can't find the PFS?
January 2023 - in quarterly, no mention of PFS.
Q1 2023 - sold to RMS, possibly cheap, possibly not.
I guess they gave up a PFS when they realised that it wasn't going to work.
Perhaps some clues that comparisons with NXM are superficial... RMS probably got a good deal though, good for RMS.
