This was not a huge purchase as Directors' moves go, but it's nonetheless extremely welcome.
Given the MTO SP has collapsed, he's 'out of the money' - marginally - for the time being but the purchase is good, given that like most Australians he doesn't invest his hard-earned in the hope it'll be frittered away through a further drop in the value of a holding.
It's a coded message that despite the likelihood of a recession, and how some have said MTO is paying its latest dividend from borrowings, the company has a positive future.
