Hopefulone,
You seem to imply that sanctions are a good thing and are hopeful that it will break from within!
I think it was Orwell who said that political language is designed to give a facade of respectability to acts that are anything but respectable... I can't see any difference between 'sanctions' and siege warfare, and I suspect that neither do the Iranians. The Americans have been meddling in Iranian politics for at least 50 years, perhaps longer. It has always lead to killings, subjegation and a deterioration in Iranian life.
The United States has 2% of the worlds known oil reserves.
75% of the worlds known oil and gas reserves lie in muslim states with most of these reserves concentrated in the Middle East and Central Asia.
Iran is one of six remaining countries around the world that does not have a Rothschilds controlled central bank.
No doubt many Iranians are not a fan of the Iranian government, but that does not mean that they do not understand what would happen if America again decides to 'democratise' (sic) them with B52s at 30,000 feet.
