pretty sure this chart is tracking the rise of Indonesian ni laterite exports and the declining demand for ni from the lme. there are some interesting articles surrounding this fact, so it appears that the smart money is betting a pull back in the lme ni price and thus a downgrade in earnings for those companies that sell into that market or have sales contracts that use the lme price as the benchmark.
