Yep thats what a lot of holders will probably be doing, its a free shot. get out now above 1, get your same holding back plus the options at a cheaper price. Holders realising this will lead the supply to go down to 1 cent, then you will also have double the amount of shares on issue after the shares are allocated creating a huge over hang to get through.
How some holders see this as a good thing is mindboggling.
