here's a bit of math that lends some weight to Voltaire's 2013 date low.... a scarey and depressing thought
The XJO bear lasted 495 days....1/1/07 to 10/3/09 (as opposed to the US 512 days)
as you know the first few fibonacci ratios greater that 1 are : 1.618, 2.618 and 4.236
495 x 1.618 = 801 days = sunday 10/1/2010.....monday 11th jan was an important top for the XJO
495 x 2.618 = 1296 = 20/5/2011 ......about 3.5 weeks before the armstrong low. do the math on the US timeframes and we come right in at the armstrong low..... we often see lows occurring around armstrong lows without directly hitting (eg 2002 low)....this is close enough to take note.
495 x 4.236 = 2097 = 29/7/2013.....Voltaire's theoretical 62 month low is around the 8th so the fib extension comes in 3 weeks later.....if the XJO low had been on the 6/3/09 like the US we would have come much closer to Voltaire's date.
