My understanding is that they only produce an oxide at Malaysia.
They are setting up a plant in Kalgoorlie to do the produce a carbonate.
They were then still planning to convert it to oxide in Malaysia.

I am pretty sure ASM could change the oxide into metal and alloys but not sure if that is required because Lynas were selling the oxide to Japan(and maybe other customers) who then processed it further for whatever use they had.
If anybody wants to expand that would be great.
