Has anyone actually tried the chicken collins is dishing out recently? I bought this stock as I am a massive believer in the product. I lived in the UK for six years but as an Australian wanted some ASX exposure to KFC. Having just moved back to oz, turns out KFC does not taste like KFC here. Its bland, soggy, and the wicked wings are sub par compared to the UK version. I have sampled multiple restaurants with the same results. Hot and spicy boned chicken is an exception which is excellent but can only be sourced at certain large high volume stores.
Can anyone shine some light into what is going on at Collins? Cost cutting? Seems wierd to not be serving the original recipe flavour given that's KFC's whole offering.
Thinking of selling if they don't pick up their game.
