Whats also great about a government grant is the government likes to show (and even show off), where its putting various funds. Once the gov supports a company its then in the gov best interest for that company to show success.
Put it this way government backing early does future application, from tenements, permits right up to mining no harm :)

I can certainly envisage the SA government gloating about another SA success story down the road ;)

Yes and this award does support that the SA governments faith in CUU is similar to ours, as they certainly have studied independently CUU's exploration plans and this award is based on this plans merits and odds of success. I agree time soon for the market to catch up :)
