The MDA will provide details on the Malawian Government's proposed interest in the Project and the taxing regime to apply. It will also set out the preconditions to mining.
While the signing takes away the uncertainty about the Project and its timing the major uplift in the SP will occur IMO when the updated Feasibility Study is released probably in June. Until then we can only speculate on how profitable the Project will be and consequently its value, the timing of the Project and consequently when and how much revenue is scheduled to be derived.
We do know based on the previous Study that the Project will be highly profitable so that ultimately the SP will reflect this. We know that the capital cost relative to the cashflow is small, that the Project is being derisked, and that the Refinery process has been changed in a way that reduces operating costs and increases product revenue.
Furthermore, updates relating to financing and ultimate product buyers will further reduce uncertainties that currently exist.
