Have been very long term holder, and a little surprised at how much WBT is being hit around today.
My suspicious brain trying to wade through what might be the play behind this.
Is it possible that a fab could be behind driving it below the SSP far enough to destabilise it and then maybe throw their hat in the ring for a takeover offer? Even if that were the case, surely:
- Coby has responded to this is the past when questioned of a takeover, so no!
- WBT is in a good enough financial position to bypass the lack of interest it may produce, let alone remain in the list of fabs of interest, if they were already. So not in the fab's interest to blacklist themselves.
I have decided that this is still shorters deliberately feeding of the fear of Retail investors, making as much as they can before it is too late and they look somewhere else to leach
