I suspect this is an issue more concerning than the NDIS cost blowout. It's a pretty small sample but several friends of mine who had children later in life have boys who are autistic. Are most of these children on the NDIS because they're autistic? I suspect many of them are, and it's not something likely to go away if our society is leaving parenthood until later in life because people want to feel financially established before having children.
