I am probably the guilty party in your rejection from the XJO thread. It wasn't meant as a rejection.
I don't think the words "crass" were used, or at least they weren't by me.
Some or the arcane ideas some of us have, are complex and are the result of years of development.
As such, it is not easy to just lay out a simple map for a first timer. That is because even amongst the more complex thoughts, there is diversity, and it takes time to understand where each poster is coming from.
We do welcome all ideas, and I for one am an eager learner.
Please don't be put off, as the last thing we want is to discourage new ideas or those that may learn and then develop extensions to those ideas.
