one of the main objectives of the approved unit plan was to simplify the process. A gravel road and pad at hickory was already mentioned in the unit application. Note: in order to get approval for a gravel pad you have to show cause. The aim if successful is to move towards horizontal drill/ frac/ flow test then production, this will obviously require a gravel pad. if you were building a gravel pad what would be the best time to do it? summer?
