Yes, I agree. BHP is big enough to offer a "reasonable chance" offer on a good lithium stock. Lithium stocks were about half their 'true' value before the surge today, so I think BHP might offer around 130% premium to prices before the surge. Perhaps $7.50 for PLS if they wanted PLS. In my view that would be a "reasonable chance" offer.
